Had this exact same thought about a week ago when Modern Man came up on shuffle. Had to spin the whole record after that.

And that's great & everything, but I hope it's not too montonous sounding, or too much electronica drowning out their talents on a variety of instruments. I mean, I love their piano.

Yeah, I don't know. Part of what I liked about this band was that they were just on the end of hipster electronica but only took the best bits of its sound. I'm not sure I want them to go full on.

it sounds much much more analog than electronic though...

i wouldn't really classify this song as "electronica"

i believe it's just called 'The Reflektors', but there's no info on the 12" single besides Merge Records + Sonovox Records.

a bit more...

the verses are Win singing a few lines with Regine then singing a few lines french, they sing some of the lines together, and then the hook is mostly Win singing

edit: the song is just over 7 minutes

Cool... At 7 minutes I think my only worry is that it gets monotonous, being a disco song...

it sort of does, yeah... they could easily fade out at 5:40 and it would be just as effective of a song imo

That was my one criticism of The Suburbs. Too long, they get ahead of themselves.
