Oh, I'm sure Stone has a healthy professional respect for the guy. You can still work with someone and appreciate their contribution without necessarily getting along with them.warehouse wrote:Strat wrote:Probably not that much since his voice is pretty incredible and has made him millions.Birds in Hell wrote:I wonder how many times a day Stone rolls his eyes in quiet frustration when Pearl Jam are rehearsing or recording.cutuphalfdead wrote:Worse, even.theplatypus wrote:STILLdurdencommatyler wrote:theplatypus wrote:Listening to Stone speak right after listening to Ed is really amazing. Been a while since I've watched SVT, but I remember Ed sounding really off during No Way, like he couldn't quite hit the notes.

Re: SVT the thread
Oh yeah, I remember the song sounding fantastic otherwise. Just always made me wonder if that's why they don't play the song more often live. Maybe Ed struggles with it too much to do frequently.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:Yeah, he was a bit, but the band sounded great, even Ed was jamming a bit on itdurdencommatyler wrote:Been a while since I've watched SVT, but I remember Ed sounding really off during No Way, like he couldn't quite hit the notes.
