They got #1 right. Hard to argue with any of the picks 1-8.

We all know wiser time is by far their best song

Probably a top 3 90s rock song for me (if we go 1 per artist)

Pretty decent list overall actually

This really saddens me. I fucking love the Crowes. SOme of my favorite memories revolve around the crowes whether its seeing them live or listening to their music in the most beautiful of places and drinking beers.

Dammit why does Chris R need to be such a D'baggo? Thats a really shitty way to have it end; although fitting. I was really looking forward to new music (hopefully) with Jackie greene on guitar as those shows were pretty incredible.

Anywho.

RIP BC :peace:

I was randomly in the mood for some Crowes today after work. So now I'm sitting here listening to the Tall side of the Lost Crowes and pounding Miller Lites. FEATHERS!!!!

CR wants nothing to do with TBC, but he had already probably verbally agreed to tour, so he pulled the one move that would kill TBC for the foreseeable future

I don't necessarily buy that they're done, but I also don't see how much money a reunion tour with another new guitar player will bring in somewhere down the road (I mean, if you're Jackie Green, why would you come back to this bullshit?)

What is CR hatred for the Crowes all about? Does he think he can do better on his own? Fuck, Gorman is the heartbeat of those songs and Rich is the soul....

The music chemistry is undeniable with that group.

Im frustrated dammit!

I think he's probably more artistically fulfilled with CRB...seems much more his vibe at this point in his life than anything TBC has done. And it sucks, because I think with the right lead player, the band is still pretty mighty as a live act (still not a fan of Jackie's work last year).

It's just alot of mindless jamming that goes nowhere. Can be fun in a live situation, but you have to exhibit more chops or restraint for studio stuff. He needs Rich as conductor.

I love Steve for coming out swinging...and to think it all started because of a post he made about PJ doing a 25th anniversary tour and how "what a guy" that Eddie Vedder is for not forcing his bandmates to become salaried employees
