I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

It's a reference to that terrible lyric in the new song Eddie performed with Glen.dimejinky99 wrote:Mecca wrote:I’ll be your dimejinky; I’ll scare all your posts awaydimejinky99 wrote:verb_to_trust wrote:What about the horrible song with Glen?dimejinky99 wrote:Tour dates tomorrow. Welcome backEnsign9 wrote:I couldn't get past the aging effects CGI -- too distracting throughout. It made the acting feel muted and a step removed from reality -- almost as if we were seeing an echo of their performances. De Niro's eyes, in particular, looked off whenever he was de-aged. Pacino's face looked like it was floating independent of his head in some scenes. I think they were mostly successful with Pesci. All of this caused a disconnect that made the 3.5 hours FEEL like 3.5 hours because I was never truly immersed in the story.
Side note: based on his appearance in the half-hour conversation featurette with Scorsese, Pesci, De Niro and Pacino, Joe is trying hard to hold onto his youth...and failing.
