They are trying so, so hard with the interactions between those kids. Blech.

What is it hopper leaves in the little box in the woods does anyone know? Or why?
Watched the series twice and forgot to keep an eye out for it.

My gravestone theory has gotten a lot of traction in SW podcast land. :)

Apparently Hopper leaves chicken wings and eggos for 11 in the box.

That's intriguing.

Just started watching this, two episodes in. Didn't think I'd enjoy a show with so many kids/teenagers. Will return to this thread when I'm done watching it next week.

Peace, Barb!

Was sure it would be you noticed that a lot of the soundtrack wasn't actually released until a few years after this is set, Spenno:)

I don't think that's important, unless the song is being listened to in the world of the show (and, to be honest, even then...)

Yeah I didn't notice it until someone pointed it out. It's of no matter.

I just watched the first episode and am afraid to read anything in this thread. I wonder if I'm going to bed tonight

I'd been warned by someone at work that Ryder was insufferable in this but I thought she was fine.

Yeah I didn't notice it was her for about three episodes. She's being accused of overacting but that's exactly how a mother would react in that situation I think
