I like the look and feel of the character, and there was a big part of me that was just feeling pretty excited that my girls could have a super hero that was there's. I did get a bit of a charge of the brief montage right before the end of the character just getting up after all the times she was knocked down.
aw huh
All of this.
But also... Brie Larson.
I have been largely indifferent to Brie Larson previously, but yeah... Brie Larson.
I've really liked everything of hers that I've seen.
The de-aging on SMJ looks pretty good.

I adore Brie and have mixed feelings about Marvel films.

How can you hate Marvel movies? I get if you don't get excited for them, or you find them a bit formulaic, but the vast majority are quite enjoyable for at least one watch.

Don't have a strong opinion one way or the other after this trailer, but Larson looks awfully bored.

I've read that it's supposed to be kind of a PTSD/vacant look because she doesn't remember who she is. Also Robocop has been brought up several times as a movie that's informed the feel of this one, whatever that means.

According to Twitter, she doesn't smile enough.

I mean, I DO wish Bruce Banner would smile more. I get that he has to be mad as the Hulk, but c'mon, Bruce, can't you be a little happy when you're NOT the Hulk?

More the next line than that one...which was harder to find a gif of...in that he's mad all the time.
