Were you hoping to use that $100 credit towards a Stadia pre-order?

WTF?

$6K for the new Mac Pro and it only comes with a 256GB SSD!

I can build that same PC for about $1,500.

Apple has always been overpriced. They've just set a new bar.

They've been a running joke for a few years now, I'm fairly certain they're seeing how far they can push it now.

They're definitely taking the piss.

Actually I deal with field audio a lot more now. I'm more on the news side of things these days than the production side. Reporters come to me all the time asking to help make the shitty recording they have better.

NOT happy about all the stupid gestures Google is adding to the Pixel 4.

What makes Pixels so great is the simplicity.

Adding all the bells and whistles will just make it feel like a Samsung device.

Just focus on the camera and clean UI.

Microsoft surprises with new dual-screen Surface Duo phone running Android

Huh. Could be interesting but it's not due for another year so we'll see.

I might choose Pixel for my next phone. My iPhone 7 Plus has lasted a good two years but my screen is cracked, my battery is shot and I have two months left on my plan.

I’m thinking about the Pixel 3 unless the 4 is just a must have. I use my phone for work and social media and take a ton of pictures.

The more I research, the more the Pixel 3a seems like the smart choice.

Are the features on there worth splurging for versus the 3a?

If I do make this jump from Apple, I wonder how much of a headache transferring all my shit will be.

I have a Pebble 2 and a Pebble that I'm either donating to Goodwill or shipping to someone here who wants one for...reasons? At any rate, let me know before Tuesday as that's when my bag will be full.

I went ahead and paid off the remaining two payments on my 7 Plus and got myself a Pixel 3a. Love it so far, but Android is intimidating to this decade long iOS user. I don't know what to do with all of this freedom except to arrange tasteful widgets.
