GA Standing in the pit. It's my first vineyard show.

Got seated lower tier. I was speaking to the wiffey about GA but she just isn't keen anymore. I'm cool with that too nowadays. We are in the first block from the stage, similar to where I sat seeing Nick Cave last month. Close enough to get dampened by Peter Garrett's scalp sweat. No real bad seats at the venue tbh.

And I have just realised that I have somehow managed to spend over $1,300 on tickets today alone.

I'm getting reimbursed for many of these (thank God) but today I bought 2 x NBL GF tickets for the son, 4 x Oils tix for me and friends and 2 x Justin Bieber tix off Ticketmaster Resale as a present for my daughter.

Ticket prices are kinda crazy in these parts.

Again, 3rd time that Soudngarden played in CO the past few years and I am out of town. In Europe. Oh well.

Just got an e-mail to say that Billy Bragg is now doing an "intimate Sonic Session" on the Thursday night before the Friday concert that I've already got tickets for. The Thursday night show is seated, is in a smaller venue, and is more of a chat/song/chat solo format that really appeals to me here.

But I don't really want to see him both on the Thursday and the Friday, and I guarantee the wife won't want to back-to-back.

Presale starts tomorrow at 9am. I'm thinking I'm just gonna buy the tickets and deal with the consequences/choices later. What should I do??

Well, after going through all your responses and suggestions I decided that the vast majority of y'all were right and pulled the trigger on the Thursday night 'Sonic Session'.

I think I'll give the Friday night tickets to my brother instead.
