I am not familiar with this artist, and that description still makes pretty good sense to me.

I listened once and was bored to tears. And her performance on SNL was no better than a million other acts in Brooklyn right now.
Yeah I really don't get the whole Solange thing, other than her being Beyonce's sister. I listened to the record and was bored as hell too. Just let her ride this out into obscurity I suppose.
