In Hiding losing by one vote
I like Low Light too, and I really don't care that In Hiding lost. I probably wouldn't be voting for it in the next round anyway.chewm wrote:I'd be so mad for In Hiding if I didn't love Low Light.

But I didn't need to. Oh well.cutuphalfdead wrote:of the girl it isLetMeSleep wrote:Btw guys I never changed my vote from Pilate.

But, if anything, the voting comedy has improved.darth_vedder wrote:Boy, things sure go downhill fast after Riot Act.
It really is. There are moments, but the consistent greatness is long gone.cutuphalfdead wrote:it's staggeringdarth_vedder wrote:Boy, things sure go downhill fast after Riot Act.
This is what we've been left with now for over 10 years. Ugh.PHATJ wrote:It really is. There are moments, but the consistent greatness is long gone.cutuphalfdead wrote:it's staggeringdarth_vedder wrote:Boy, things sure go downhill fast after Riot Act.
The part that sucks the most is that they have intentionally steered away from interesting/challenging music in favor of attempting to write a bunch of "fun" live songs. Give me interesting and challenging in the live setting for a shorter set (if that is the trade off) instead of ham fisted punk & arena songs for three hours.Strat wrote:This is what we've been left with now for over 10 years. I'm fine with whatever they want to give us. Really. My issue is two albums in 10 years. Both of the last two albums would be more exciting if they were just another release in pearl jam land. But this is what we are left to chew on and they dont deserve the time allotted to them. If you are going to give us an album to sit with for 5 years then take more than 2 weeks to develop it. Show us some respect (yes that is a ridiculous thing to say and totally pathetic on my part but whatever).PHATJ wrote:The part that sucks the most is that they have intentionally steered away from interesting/challenging music in favor of attempting to write a bunch of "fun" live songs. I absolutely agree with what you are saying here. Given the choice of new music or more touring, I'd take music 100% of the time.Strat wrote:I'm fine with whatever they want to give us. Really. They need to get over this idea that when they put an album out they need to fire up this huge machine and tour for years on it. It doesnt need to be such a big production. Quit being so precious about it. Write, record, release. Maybe dont tour on it.
