Very surprised this wasn't picked.LoathedVermin72 wrote:It’s trueE.H. Ruddock wrote:LV would have picked rollercoaster tycoon
You didn't miss out. I have several friends who work at various game studios (PHX has turned into a hotbed for small to medium size gaming companies) and their lives sound miserable. Lots of hiring and firing, lots of mandatory overtime, lots of delays, cancellations and funding/investment problems.Simple Torture wrote:I was so into that game when it came out. I was obsessed with downloading mods and user-made levels, and even got a level editor so I could build my own (never really got beyond making big rooms and hallways, but it was fun). I was only 13, and in another life I think I could've gotten into that business--even took a coding class in high school. But that fizzled out when I got interested in the humanitiesrun2death wrote:Quake II really wasn't very good.Simple Torture wrote:Other games that I might've thought about if I were picking:
Quake II
Dark Forces II
X-Wing or TIE Fighter
Minecraft
Surprised no one picked a Civilization game.
I plan to have the first two or three up tonight or tomorrow.CopperTom wrote:When will matchups be announced?
It'll probably be tomorrow. Depends on how sleepy I am.run2death wrote:Tonight??!

Yeah, MyPlayer is awful for loading times and wonky AI. I'm talking about the other 80 percent of the game.tragabigzanda wrote:I found the AI to be very hot and cold, with my teammates making all the right moves until all of a sudden then all wanted to crowd the paint. No way are the load times better than FIFA! The load times are no worse than Madden or FIFA games either.
The controls are really complicated, I'll give you that.
My only true knock against the series is prevelance of microtransactions.
