Toothpicks will also work.
Thicker screw won't go through the pre-cut holes in the door hinge, though. Those holes are cut to the size of the screw required.

I just fixed the same issue on a closet door using a thicker screw.

its funny because our neighbors house is empty and for sale and I've considered going over there to make short ribs

oh, and the painter is coming at the stupid time of 430pm today to paint baseboards and the kitchen..my wife is taking her coworkers bowling tonight so i have to leave and find something to eat and drink for a few hours...

My ex cousin-in-law was paid 750 bucks to pretend to be house hunting in Alaska for an episode. And none of the houses they featured were for sale

my friend and her ex-boyfriend were on one of those apartment renovation shows. every couple of years i print out a screengrab of the show and send it to her and her husband.
