I wouldn't mind them trying out some new material on this 2023 tour like the old days. Highly doubt they will but it would be a nice surprise.

The album's called "Wasted Potential," and it's a real mixed bag. It's got a few good songs, but a lot of mediocre ones that don't really stand out. There are times where you'll be rocking out, but then there are other times where you'll be yawning.

Here's the track listing with the songwriter(s) credited for each track and the length of each song:

1. "Empty Promises" - 3:42 (Eddie Vedder)
2. "Forgotten Dreams" - 4:23 (Mike McCready, Jeff Ament)
3. "Fading Echoes" - 5:18 (Stone Gossard)
4. "Sandcastles" - 6:12 (Eddie Vedder, Matt Cameron)
5. "Soulless Nights" - 4:56 (Jeff Ament, Eddie Vedder)
6. "The Endless Abyss" - 5:48 (Stone Gossard)
7. "Broken Dreams" - 4:33 (Mike McCready)
8. "Lost Hopes" - 6:37 (Eddie Vedder, Matt Cameron)
9. "The Road to Nowhere" - 3:52 (Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament)
10. "Fading Memories" - 7:01 (Eddie Vedder)

There are definitely some highs on this album. The guitar work, as usual, is top-notch. Mike McCready and Stone Gossard continue to prove why they're some of the most talented guitarists in the business. They bring the heat on tracks like "Forgotten Dreams" and "Broken Dreams," really showcasing their technical skills.

In terms of engineering, the album has a nice, gritty sound that's become a signature of Pearl Jam's music. It's a bit rough around the edges, but that's part of its charm. The instruments are well-balanced, and the production is solid overall.

One of the reasons Pearl Jam fans might love this album is because it's a bit of a departure from their usual sound. Tracks like "Soulless Nights" and "Lost Hopes" have a more experimental feel to them, incorporating elements of psychedelia and grunge. It's refreshing to see the band try something new and take some risks.

Overall, while "Wasted Potential" may not be Pearl Jam's best work, it's still a solid addition to their discography. The guitar work is impressive as always, the engineering and production are on point, and there are some standout tracks that fans are sure to love.

Well it can’t get any worse than earth so I’m assuming anything that’s next is considered heaven
