Am I missing something? Are we supposed to care about owning yet another copy of the same record because this one is purple? If you got it, do you even open it? And if you open and play it, isn’t it worthless, as much as the Ten you have, the Ten Reissue, and some imported Ten sitting around somewhere? What makes this one more special or worth buying?

Oh absolutely. I wish they’d take a page from the Jack White book and hire people who would create cool shit. Or just bring Ames Bros in house since they have an apparent affinity for keeping everything closed off from anyone they haven’t known for more than 25 years.
