Which ones haven't you heard? Marry Me and Actor?
Yeap.
Oh man. You're in for such a treat. Take them one at a time and savor each one. Last as long as you can with each one. They're both such great records. I'm super jealous of you! I wish I could hear those songs for the first time again.

Thats why it took me so long to get these...SM and ST ; they both grab my attention but they needed time.

Not sure if I'm gonna try to go or not. I feel like not.

Picked up S/T a few weeks ago when I was really jonesing for something completely fresh. Overall I enjoy the album, it satisfied my hunger.

Is she really comparable to Hendrix, Page or SRV though? I can't really make out exactly what's going on in the solo above but I'm pretty sure it's just heavy use of effects for the most part, and not really anything audibly pleasing coming out of it.

You're talking about Tom Morello, yes?

No, talking about the video a few posts up. Tom Morello was the pioneer of that style of playing indeed but was much better at it than the solo above. I'm not personally into effect-laden guitar but can understand why people consider Tom Morello to be great.

I'm only specifically talking about that one solo on this page. Maybe St. Vincent is actually as good at guitar as the legends mentioned, I'll have to check out some of her other stuff.
