Heartbreaker through Cold Roses is unfuckwithable. This one fits right in with those records in my opinion. I'm not sure when the notion Ryan doesn't have any good albums entered the picture, but I bet it was... recently.

I warmed up to Prisoner eventually. Self titled and Ashes and Fire are the ones that I don't listen to. Wednesdays is how Ashes and Fire should have sounded.

Those first two tracks together work really well. I haven’t heard rain for a while so it’s fascinating to hear where this album goes.

1. "Big Colors" 3:04
2. "Do Not Disturb" 3:00
3. "It's So Quiet, It's Loud" 3:19
4. "Fuck the Rain" 3:33
5. "Manchester" 2:52
6. "What Am I" 2:48
7. "Power" 2:42
8. "I Surrender" 2:39
9. "Showtime" 4:06
10. "In It for the Pleasure" 4:20
11. "Middle of the Line" 2:49
12. "Summer Rain" 3:45

Don Was co-produced with Beatriz Artola and Ryan Adams.

On April 23, 2021, Big Colors was announced, and the first single, "Do Not Disturb" was released on digital services. A release date of June 11 was announced, along with a statement from Ryan: Big Colors was created as a 1980s soundtrack to a movie that never existed,” Adams says. “Wednesdays was a study of decline and morality; Big Colors is meant to feel like a daydream. New York, where this album was written, always propels me into new, unexpected creative spaces and this album happened to me, more than I can say I happened to it.

Gave up on him years before the me too stuff. And will never care about his music anymore. Jason Isbell 500x better and you can live with yourself listening to him!

Isbell is a bore.

I've said it before, not everything has to be a moral purity test.
