totally agree, not an easy listen but a rewarding one for sure, i find it hard to press play again at the moment, gonna have to wait for the right time to digest it.

listened to a bit of her podcast with Broken Arrow. Interesting how she approached the recording of the new album. Its still a very difficult album to me, but there are some very cool things going on.

Listening to The Empty Page right now...maybe their pop song? in terms of melody and structure and also still being a good reflection of what the band was.

The local museum had a free day over the weekend so I went with the family. Was pleasantly surprised to see one of Richard Prince’s nurse paintings on display — not the one used for SY’s album cover, but another unmistakably from the same series:

I mean, the record is definitely in the bottom quarter of their discography but there are a few redeeming features if you really try hard to find them.
