I'm not nearly as well-versed in Neil as most of you guys, but this is my ranked top 10 from what I've heard so far:
Will to Love
On the Beach
Hey Babe
Like a Hurricane
Harvest Moon
Vampire Blues
Heart of Gold
Little Wing
Act of Love
I'm the Ocean

Not a dud in that bunch, LV. "Little Wing" is a beaut, yeah?

It sure is.
I think I'm the only person whose favorite Neil album is American Stars n Bars.

Wendy Carlos's Twin really likes it too, though I'm not sure it's his favorite. It's definitely a fantastic album, though not my number one.

Not sure ive seen this video! The Act of Love part.....
Interesting to watch knowing how Crazy Horse feels Neil totally fucked them over at that point. They were all antiicpiating recording a new album with these songs of his but he dumped them for PJ at the time.
Thank god because....oof.

Maybe the all-star jam at the end this year will be Ohio.

I didn't think it was that bad. I kinda liked it.

What i love best baout crazy horse is the fact that they legit cannot keep up with neil. both his musicianship and his physical stamina. It's what creates some amazing dynamic.
however, it is very apparent here how behind him they are. Or maybe its just because I know what PJ did with it instead.

That version just sounds canned, limp, and neutered

If i remember correctly from shakey - they learned it that day or something.
though, Neil did that to PJ as well at one of their shows in DC earlier that year. Or maybe im getting my story confused. Nonetheless,s Jack irons FTW

I definitely like the PJ version better, especially b/c of Jack. I didn't hate that CH version though, it was alright.

What are RM's thoughts about 'On The Beach'? I don't think I know anything from it. Is it on the rock or folk side of things?
