I really enjoy their output together but indeed she does go in to his relapse amongst other things hereIsobel Campbell wrote:It was because he kinda disappeared for a year but in my heart I wanted to do another one because as soon as we'd finished Ballad of the Broken Seas I was writing new songs and I was like "Oh God, I've got to get Mark to sing these."

I listen to the Houston: Publishing Demos relatively often, it's a good collection of songs. I appreciated Lanegan's positive remarks on it as an 'album' in, IIRC, I Am the Wolf.VinylGuy wrote:Nothing Much To Mention is a top 5 song for me.

If you're more into the electronica vibe, then I agree Blues Funeral from 2012 is a great place to start. If you're more into an acoustic or Americana-type vibe, I'd start with his 90s material, namely Whiskey For the Holy Ghost. I actually got into him through his old 90s band, Screaming Trees, who I still love to this day.Ms Harmless wrote:where should I start?Revelator wrote:Awesome, saw that yesterday as well.
