Lenny, if buffets were open wouldn't you like to go to one right now and stuff yourself til your eyes float? I would.

We can splurge on occasion, right? Wouldn't it be ok if you fasted 3 days before going to the local Chinese buffet? Countless hours and plates later, the cook would go into panic mode and become goalie of the buffet table. As you approach for the final round he'd tell you, 'Lenny, you eat too much. You eat too much, Lennyman. You make spatula hand cramp! You eat double you pay double!!!'

Oh, well that means we can meet there and go on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. I don't drink whiskey but it might be worth the trip if I would get to pick your brain while you're 3 sheets to the wind.

Y'all read Gabrielle Hamilton's op-ed in the NY Times about the future of Prune and dining out in NYC? Like, I know, everything makes me cry, but that essay really tore me up. It's beautiful and heartbreaking in turn. And Hamilton is such a gifted writer.

Prune is my favorite restaurant and I'm excited/terrified to see what happens next. :heartbeat:

Found it!

I'm not sure it's going away entirely. The article led me to believe it'll be back but perhaps in a different form? We'll see. But thanks for thinking of me and posting this. Again, sorry I missed it originally.
