If the availability is anything like the US you can get really good seats 2 weeks before the show for face value or even less.

But then again in Aussie land I don’t know. Anticipation is probably higher down there.

Yeah, you have no idea. Only one show in New Zealand, so I'm fairly certain this one will sell out in minutes. Huge fans down here.

Tl;Dr - Tool was good live and you should go see them even if it's very expensive

This ought to be a fucking great show.

So they've got Grammy nominations for Fear Inoculum (song) and 7empest, but nothing for album art/packaging. Seems a little odd.

Also tried to get in on the pre-sale yesterday, but tickets were gone super quick

I am considering this as the next catalogue journey, but not quite ready to start. What makes this different from the others I have done (for anyone with actual interest in this act of both filling my commute time while maximizing paid for Spotify), is that I have never once ever heard a song by Tool. I mean never. I don’t know why. I can’t say it’s not my cup of tea because I have not even heard a sample. The world could be messing with me and this could be circus music backed by tremendous whistlers and I wouldn’t know the difference. So this would be taking a plunge without any preconceived favorites or thoughts...
