I want to see Marcus King Band at the Beacon but I haven’t taken the plunge to get tickets. Saw them twice this year up close and the most expensive ticket was $22. Mid range seats at the Beacon are $50.

These are $36 Canadian at Vancouver's best venue. Definitely worth giving them a shot.

They are definitely worth the shot. One of the better bands I have seen live in the last few years

My wife bought me a ticket to see U2 tonight with her and her girlfriend. I am almost totally unexcited.

If it'd been local - I would have gone to see them when they were here. Enjoyed it last time I saw them. Except for Kanye. He suck a dick!

Both good bits of news. I'd certainly like to see Rolling Blackouts. And Pixies for that matter.

...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of The Dead in January. Pretty excited about this, never thought they'd be touring again.

Well, the U2 show tonight was surprisingly great. The visuals were stunning, and have to say the band and Bono sounded really great. Colour me pleasantly surprised.

Stereolab in March.

Maybe the Necks in the same month too, if I can make it work.

Seen both before but not in about 20 years, which is a terrifying reminder of the ceaseless march of time.

Awesome!
Should be an interesting show as this is the venue (also the hall where I graduated from university):
