would a 'suicide' on the death certificate invalidate one's ability to receive life insurance proceeds?

One would hire a top insurance lawyer, deny it was a suicide and blame it all on Ativan just in case.96583UP wrote:would a 'suicide' on the death certificate invalidate one's ability to receive life insurance proceeds?

Stern is a big fan of those. He and Robin have even discussed that marriage should be like a 5 year contract. After that time, renew or go your separate ways.verb_to_trust wrote:Unrelated but he told Stern there was no pre nup. Stern thought that was crazy.

As a teenager, when my parents were splitting up, I read a sci-fi novel that included that idea, marriage as a 1 year or 5 year contract, I thought it was a grand idea.darth_vedder wrote:Stern is a big fan of those. Why bother with marriage at all then? Just don't get married.

4MG of Lorazepam is nuuuuuuuts. I take .5mg as needed for anxiety/panic.TMZ wrote:Chris Cornell had several prescription drugs in his system when he hanged himself in a Detroit hotel room ... according to the toxicology report.
According to the report, obtained by TMZ, the singer had Naloxone (Narcan), Butalbital (sedative), Lorazepam (Ativan), Pseudoephedrine (decongestant) and barbiturates in his system at the time of death. It appears Chris had taken 4 (1 mg) Lorazepam tablets.
We broke the story, Vicky claims she was on the phone with Chris a half hour before his death ... when he began speaking in tones she hadn't heard since he was addicted to Oxycontin 14 years ago. She was so alarmed by the slurring and tone she asked Chris' bodyguard to break his hotel door down.
As we reported, cops observed fresh track marks on Chris' arm. According to the tox report, he had 4 needle puncture wounds on his left arm, but it appears the marks were from EMTs administering Narcan to counteract an opiate OD.
Family sources tell us Vicky and others are angry the medical examiner "jumped to conclusions" Chris committed suicide. They believe he was so high on drugs he did not really form an intent to kill himself ... he was out of his mind when he put the exercise belt around his neck.
In essence, Chris' family believes this was an accidental death.

Narcan?? That's what they give for opioid overdoses. Did someone give him this trying to revive him thinking he was hopped up on painkillers?given2trade wrote:4MG of Lorazepam is nuuuuuuuts. And butalbitol IS a barbiturate. It's stupid to report he had that and barbiturates in his system. It's like saying he had Lorazepam and benzodiazepines in his system. The butalbitol is a bit odd, tho. I've never seen it in a form by itself (not saying it doesn't happen, just that I've never seen it) as it's usually combined with other meds like an NSAID or aspirin and even caffeine for migraines.

I really don't see what reason there is to be upset with the medical examiners.

Me neither, but his widow really seems to like having a lot of attention thrown her way.verb_to_trust wrote:I really don't see what reason there is to be upset with the medical examiners.
