I can see that happening here. Hospitals asked 1 week in to start vaccinating their lower priority employees. We said, no. They have to work with their health dept to vaccinate top priority doctors in their county outside the hospital. The vaccine doesn't belong to the hospital. It belongs to North Carolinians.

I can see them sitting on it and then blaming us when it expires.

Meanwhile, government leaders’ spouses are getting vaccinated on television. Why wouldn’t this same logic apply to sig others of frontliners? At some point, common sense needs to kick in.

Yeah I suppose it’s important to remember that for every situation like this, there are more situations elsewhere to offset, where leftover doses are going into arms regardless of any strict guidelines.

Between this and viewing the vaccine as a tool to further social justice, its like the powers that be don't actually want the pandemic to end.

We really should have quarantined New York when this popped off. Forcing the affluent to stay in the city would have done much more to promote social justice than *waves hand* whatever this is.

Its funny that Cuomo gets an Emmy and De Santis gets no end of grief. De Santis just had the bad luck of having an unstable lady in public employment.
