I've never ripped music from a CD in my life...Can you typically change the gain when doing that?
Alternatively, if this is done using internal routing -- like sending a streaming link to a DAW -- that is very easy to screw up if you don't know what you're doing.
Only had time to run through it once and then had to turn attention back to work for a while. But I sure popped a smile at a bunch of different moments.

No, there's (generally) no easy way to add additional gain when ripping a CD.

Well its definitely for worse. Seems like such an easy thing to avoid and only would result if the goal is simply to be loud.
