He's been solid. His attention/effort seems to come and go on defense but he's a very good offensive player. Has gotten better every season so far. Will likely never be a superstar, but can be a multiple All Star.

Because regular season NBA basketball and most of the playoffs are unwatchable garbage in most cities already, think about the number of players in the NBA you actually care about "paying" to see in person because there's probably only a handful. The NBA and NHL could frankly retract and get a better quality product but they wouldn't make nearly as much money.

A bunch of teams sucking balls with the only real special talents going to the good teams anyway makes for a boring product. Defense has been taken away with disallowing most contact and hand checking so you have to have several dynamic players to win. There are maybe 5 teams in the NBA who even matter. What's my incentive to want to watch the Atlanta Hawks or the Philadelphia 76ers play?

85% of the league are selling tickets to watch the visitors, they have to give them away most nights and owners whine about "true fans" when the product is freaking terrible. Same as in the other sports, but they pretty much have to do light shows and acrobatics, pyrotechnics and wifi to get people in the building now and the vast majority of those people don't give a damn about the team, they are there for the party. The NBA and everyone on that payroll goes out of their way to try and talk about how much each game "matters" when it's pretty obvious that they don't.

I love baseball. I played competitively into college. Actually, I'm just a huge sports fan, but baseball is my favorite. When I can't see a game I definitely follow it on my phone, read about it, see the highlights. I look forward to the first pitch all day. I still hate myself for not having a career in some aspect of baseball.

Hypothetically, what would people say if LeBron now joined the Warriors like Durant did? He lost to them, so goes and joins them so he doesn't have to beat them? People would destroy him for that.
