The president is signing a tariffs order for the press but it may or may not actually be drafted yet and Jeff Flake is moving to try and stop it in the legislature while most of his colleagues are busy talking to reporters about how they dislike it but are scared to go against the president and Paul Ryan is already moving on to cutting Social Security as deeply as possible.

But then you have the lawyer claiming that Trump was nothing to do with the NDA, but then Trump is the one who gets the restraining order to attempt to enforce the NDA. Again that surely confirms that he was party to the initial NDA and must have stumped up the cash for it.

I was really hoping China, could get N.Korea and S.Korea to sit down, come to a peace agreement with each other, and basically say, we don't need Lord Dampnut getting involved at all. Lets not even call them on the telephone. You know hes only going to make things worse. OR, he'll take all the credit for it.

This seems like the kind of moment when having zero international credibility is going to bite you in the ass. The North Koreans invite Trump to negotiations with no intention of actually coming through with anything of any import, dragging their feet for the entire time, and nothing comes of it.

What will the rest of the world think? They'll assume Trump spent the entire time telling Kim Jong Un about how it's so much harder to win the Electoral College than the popular vote. And with that North Korea gets legitimacy as a world power it craves, it can keep it's nuclear arsenal and it actually manages to look like the reasonable party, which five years ago no one would have thought possible.
