«In 35 ABY, Kylo Ren came into the possession of Darth Vader's Sith wayfinder after his assault on Mustafar. Days later, Rey used Sith inscriptions on Ochi's blade to track a second wayfinder to the wreckage of the DS-2 Death Star upon Kef Bir, the Ocean Moon of Endor. In The Emperor's personal vault in the ruins of the his throne room, Rey discovered the Emperor's wayfinder. While in this chamber, she confronted a vision of herself, yet corrupted and mangled by the dark side. Rey obtained the wayfinder from a hovering position in a cut out portion of a pillar, with green light shimmering around it. Upon exiting the chamber, Kylo Ren stole the second Wayfinder from Rey in the Throne Room and destroyed it, claiming that the only way that Rey would reach Exegol would be with him. However, after defeating Kylo Ren in a duel, Rey came into possession of the other wayfinder Ren took from Mustafar when she stole Kylo Ren's TIE whisper. After burning the ship on Ahch-To, Rey discovered the other wayfinder in the wreckage of the ship and used the wayfinder to travel to Exegol in Luke's X-wing starfighter while transmitting the coordinates to the Resistance so they can defeat the First Order, the Sith Eternal, the Final Order, and Darth Sidious once and for all.«

Rey being the daughter of a failed Palpatine clone is still pretty dumb.

Not really. She rejects the sins and legacy of the father, like Luke.
She turns her back on the temptation and evil of Palpatine like Vader / Anakin. Which could have been so easy to go for.
There’s loads in that if you look at it through those eyes

No, it's dumb. She didn't even reject the legacy of her father. Her father was a failed clone that tried to get away from Palpy.

You just split the dumbest of hairs but I’ll let it slide. This one time
Legacy then. She rejects the darkness and her lineage.
And keeps the skywalker lineage alive.
That’s huge.

Now that I've watched the Blu-Ray (Yellow-Rey?) lemme say:
I liked Rise of Skywalker the second time in the theater more than the first, and I think I liked it even more at home than in the theater. Maybe there's something small-screen-y about it, but the hyper pacing bothered me a lot less.

Shit! Totally forgot I had writer's group tonight...
Okay, it may take me a tad longer to get to TCW.
