So it looks like they were doing a post-election audit and not an official recount. They could've certified before doing the audit but decided to wait until thos results were completed. Trump can still request an official recount.wease wrote:Ok. I may have misunderstood the report I heard yesterday. I'll check again.wease wrote:Yep. The first count hadn't been certified yet. The Georgia Recount is certified. As of this morning. Biden won by 12000ish.
This was an official audit/recount of the presidental votes. Trump’s strategy now would be to get votes thrown out over technicalities, but that was taken care of during the voting process. If signatures didn’t match on mail in votes or there were other problems the vote wasn’t counted unless the voter healed the ballot.
He’s lost so many electoral votes now that it doesn’t matter if he fights it in court for four years.

I wonder when Twitter access will be deemed a human right, and therefore offered in prison like church service and tv?

The president elect is meant to get $10 million in fed funds to aid in the transition. Because fuckwit refuses to concede the funds can't be released.
Sounds like another big win for the US democratic system and political integrity.
I think it's pathetic too, just wondering if we agree on the fine points.

Re: Election 2020
fortunately there's an endless list of affluent industrialists from both parties who were personally insulted by donald trump at one point during his presidency and donated millions to make sure the TV gameshow host did not get re-elected and so i am certain the Biden campaign will get more than the $10 MM they need to preserve Western Civilization

Interesting, I think he is largely correct. Here a similar stance from Michigan:
https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/ ... war-436301
“It’s not just that he eats cheeseburgers at a big celebratory dinner. It’s not just that he does things that the common man can kind of appreciate. And it’s not even because he uses kind of simplistic language—he doesn’t use complicated, wonky language, the way a lot of Democrats do,” Slotkin said. “We sometimes make people feel like they aren’t conscientious enough. They aren’t thoughtful enough. They aren’t ‘woke’ enough. They aren’t smart enough or educated enough to just understand what’s good for them. … It’s talking down to people. It’s alienating them. And there’s just certain voters who feel so distant from the political process—it’s not their life, it’s not their world. They hate it. They don’t like all that politics stuff. Trump speaks to them, because he includes them.”
It really is that simple.
