I'm not surprised by the move to not resign Griffin but it is terrible timing. Also, replacing him with Billups is got to be a joke.

I've already forgotten who, but someone (David Aldridge I think) is reporting that the whole front office is out. That makes a lot less sense than just letting Griffin walk.

Other reports say that Griffin was working hard on a Butler trade an hour ago.

I'm not GM expert but it seems like he is universally praised and respected. Were they just too cheap?
