The thing I'm most excited about in this album is the spoken word stuff at the start of Getaway about insemination. Apparently there's more spoken word elsewhere that sounds like Bushleaguer. This is 2013, team. Woop.

btw Blood is one of the few PJ songs that is big on the chorus. There are so many songs that are kind of ruined for me because of anticlimactic choruses. A lot of stuff of Vitalogy is sinful in this regard. Satan's Bed, Whipping, Tremor Christ, Immortality, Corduroy... I never understood and probably never will understand why would anyone do that.

I like it, because I feel as if it comes with wit, sarcasm and snark, and that's my kind of PJ. In this song it sounds like he's incorporated it into the sung track, which means it probably just adds texture. He often did a multi-tracking thing where there would be a spoken chorus underneath the sung one. I loved that stuff.
