Mostly regular, but I did beat some friends in a small volta tournament a month ago.

There are some very good players out there, especially as you rise through the divisions. It sucks when you feel like you're on a roll, and you only need a point for promotion, and then you meet some hot shot. After the match you check his stats, and they're like 40-0-0. But overall I enjoy it.

Uncharted 4

It's been a few years since I played it and I wanted to see how it looks on the OLED. It's also a good primer for the Last of Us 2.

Picked up Outer Wilds on sale via the PlayStation Store. Very interested to try it after hearing so many people rave about it.

Me too man! I fired UC4 up recently as well as I hadn't played since 2016 which pre-dated by 4K TV w/ a Bose soundbar. Needless to say the game has aged well and looks and sounds fantastic. I felt the story was a bit boring, though the voice acting was top notch as usual. The gameplay (while a tad dated) still kept me interested through the final chapter. Lost Legacy was great too.

I find the dynamic with Drake and Elena to be very good. It's a much slower burn than the previous games in the series.

The game looks gorgeous.

Super Mario Sunshine

I played it, but didn't beat it when it came out all those years ago. I have the same opinion now as I did then - It's not very good. That water-pack definately takes too many Mario elements away. Instances suck too. By far my least favorite 3D Mario.

It has a certain charm to it and I appreciate the chances it takes, but it lacks the variety that give Mario games so much replay value. The water pack is also overpowered.

The story falls into a sort of uncanny valley for video games. It's too much of a slow burn to enjoy. The gameplay and set pieces, however, are excellent.
