Last two days have just reaffirmed that college football is dumb.

McCaffrey awesomeness aside, this has been a real bad day of New Year's football.

The next Toby Gerhart!

With a win in the NC, Clemson will set the record for most wins in a single season with 15.

I've been watching Stanford all year and I'm really not sure what I think about McCaffrey prospects in the NFL. He's for sure quicker than Gerhart and has better vision. But he doesn't have blazing speed and he doesn't actually break a lot of tackles. Mostly, he runs through gaping holes that Stanford's awesome O-line makes for him. I think he's a late first rounder. He's a smart, "shifty" player. He could have a few good years as a 3rd down back or someone could turn him into a slot receiver.

So, Patriots?

I guess the Stanford band managed to piss off another fan base. Iowa fans are all bent out of shape about being mocked at halftime. Probably a little more sensitive than they would've been if they weren't down five touchdowns at the time.

I hope Iowa enjoyed the vacation.

We can write off that side of the B1G now like we do the hot garbage SEC east.

Iowa fans around here are very butt hurt over the Stanford band doing a farmer themed show at half time.

I knew you were going to come in here for some schadenfreude, despite the fact that the game solely turned on Vernon Adams's injury.

What about TCUs prolific qb being out a few days before the game. Ducks got frogged. No excuses.

At least Nebraska and Wisconsin beat up on the LA schools.

My question is, does Oregon not have any plays where the QB is under center? The center-QB exchange killed them more than Adams's injury. Well, that and giving up 400 yards in the second half.
