It can’t be as rough as parents have it over here dealing with LGBT books in public school libraries.

(Seriously, I can’t imagine the stuff they are going through in these relocation camps)

Time to face the truth team, Ukraine has lost. This was always going to be the case, everyone knew it, we just couldn't help ourselves when the new big hastag came out and now an entire generation of Ukrainians and Russians has been destroyed. On the bright side, if you are in the CCP, you now know Taiwan is yours for the taking because the SWIFT ban once a one-time-use weapon that China is now immune to.

I suppose everyone can lose, but this time I think Dime may be right. (Unless your angle is that Putin is nuts and doesn't care, which is how we all could lose).

Thodoks hasn't posted in about a month and he comes back for a smug "I told you so"

That's some sad shit.

I took a multi-month break, came back for the tour, and saw the place was in desperate need of some adult conversation. WTF happened to you? Put your money into ARKK and now youre in a van down by river?

I suppose the end state of 'win' is up to the individual to define.

That said, Russia has taken basically all of Luhansk Oblast and is making progress in Donetsk. Seems unlikely Russia will take it all, but Ukrainian boasting of taking it all back seems... premature.

Considering the might of Russia, losing Donbas can not be unexpected. Losing Kyiv would be Ukraine losing the war, even if western Ukraine was unoccupied and mostly unbombed, like now.

There is also the long run to think of. What happens to Donbas in the future? Can’t see it just being a peaceful recognized part of Russia, with worldwide acceptance, and no sanctions.

Russia gaining ground in Donbas is simply not a win, it was inevitable.
