I felt it was implied in the fact that Jada has talked about issues of race and hair in articles since it happened, but her feelings don't matter and we're waiting for "additional evidence"; it's not about race until... I don't even know
Let's just say... to her, based on her apparent statement(s), it had racial elements, but to Chris Rock and everyone else, it might not have.
in that case, impact trumps intent; I don't care that nobody "meant" anything, I care about what happened
See, you're mistaking one person's perspective for objective reality.
I'm prioritising a victim's perspective over Tree's reality

a majority isn't "in the right" about anything just because it's a majority; I'm regularly in rooms where I am the only wheelchair user, and thus I am regularly in rooms where I'm the only person who isn't thick as pig shit about disabled access
I'm not saying my personal reality trumps anyone's. I'm actually saying everyone has their own perspective, and one doesn't outweigh the others just because they happen to be feeling pain or discomfort or anything, therefore if someone doesn't happen to be acknowledging your personal truth in a moment, it doesn't mean they are actively trying to harm you. It may just be a lack of awareness, a misunderstanding on your part.

My priority is to end the narrative that I am a class reductionist. Slaps incoming.

I want to say that only a low-IQ barely literate mouth-breather would read my posts and think "class reductionist" but then each of those insults would imbricate me in a number of further dramas, which could result in slaps being both given and received, a situation I think it best we all avoid.
