I :heartbeat: Sugar. Brie Larsen was outshined, outshined, outshined by her so much in ep 7.
I want an editor to cut the weird meandering monologues short. I want some mood music instead of actual songs playing a bit too loudly over every scene; it’s distracting and cloying. I want Carmy to snap out of it; he’s easily the most boring, repetitive character and I don’t care about him anymore. I wanted that wedding episode to be more like Fishes. I want a Cicero and Computer spinoff where they just drive around Chicago to their various investment opportunities and real talk the idiots.

pretty solid finale though. kinda saved the season, and the show moving forward. don't it beat a slow dance to death.

Good post.
I feel like I’m getting everything I want from this show.
I’ll take all the dialogue. Ayo Edebiri is maybe the best actress I’ve ever seen. I’m mesmerized by her talent. I really can’t get over the entire cast, including all the incredible cameos. No weaknesses. Well, except the fucking Faks. I can’t stand them.
I like the music. There haven’t been any standout moments with it this season, but I appreciate the callbacks of “Strange Currencies” and Taylor Swift.
I think this is the first season I’ve liked Carmy, to be honest. He’s really trying to be less of a douche. He’s finally putting his employees/family ahead of his need to challenge himself.
I don’t want any spin-offs. Well, maybe one where Sugar’s husband sits in a cuck chair while Sugar and Brie Fak make up, but that could just be a special.
Glad to hear the finale worked for you. My whole evening is planned around it.

Finished it yesterday. Hated this season. Awful one. Hope this is the end because there are not new ideas here. The last ep was kinda interesting but so repetitive. So boring. LET IT DIE.

what did you want from it that you were unable to get?

This show peaked when they played "Animal", and then the second half of that S2 finale soured me on the whole thing.

You might be expecting too much from a tv show.
Or setting your expectations unreasonably high.

I haven't finished it, pacing myself, it being the last season and all.

But so far so good. Episode 5 was great.

Yeah, sorry I sounded like I have a confirmed source, didn't mean it.
I mean since there's no renewal for season 5 as of now, and from what I hear season 4 closes like a finale.

No it doesn't, not in my opinion. No closure. More of a set-up than a conclusion

Halfway through season 4 and I think I oooked up from my phone twice.

It’s just loads of emptiness. Would have been more interesting to do the whole season with no dialogue rather than this.

There's a considerable amount of storytelling going on without audible dialogue, I'd put my phone down so that it's not a distraction.
