Well, he's only in his late 40's, so we could potentially be stuck with this guy for another 40 years. Barring a sudden death or anything, I guess Washington will just be in an endless loop of sucking. Maybe every so often they will field a playoff worthy team, but as long as Snyder is here, the one consistent thing has been inconsistency. I don't see that changing anytime soon.

As a Lions fan, I can certainly empathize.

Maybe a bit dramatic yes, but it just seems there is no end in site as long as Snyder controls the team. On the surface, it appears he was doing some good with the Shanahan hire, and having Bruce Allen as a dedicated GM. However, Shanny is gone, and the team Bruce built a'int so good. Maybe after a few years and a few more moves they'll finally turn the corner, but it's just beyond miserable being a fan of this team. Especially since the downward spiral the team has taken since Snyder. This is one of the oldest and most storied franchises in the NFL, and they've turned themselves in the the Jacksonville Jaguars.
