Man, South Africa was brutal with download caps before one company went live with uncapped in 2011. 3GB per month. No YouTube binging, and I often had to turn off automatic picture loading.Varis wrote:This is an idea for RM - $10 donation gets extra tourney spot.Heathen wrote:Upgrade to premium and get 10 more slots.Varis wrote:Man, I just don't have enough space on my team for all the songs I need to include here.

My son was home from boarding school for the holidays and was running his newish XBox One. It obviously had a few updates to run through because the other day we blew our download cap and were slowed to 256KBps for 4 days. Yes, Australia has bandwidth caps. And there is no option to pay for more, you just have to suck it up. I needed that like I need an infected scrotum.
People don't realise some of he 3rd world internet conditions that so many apparently developed countries have and continue to face. We have this new "National Broadband Network" apparently bringing fibre optic speed to Oz. They brought the cable 2,500 kms from our state capital, to our brand new flash subdivision, Broome North, so that 2% of our population are well sorted. Do you think they are going to take it the last 10 km to connect up all of town? Not for another 3 years apparently.ABNorman wrote:Man, South Africa was brutal with download caps before one company went live with uncapped in 2011. 3GB per month.
