I saw CoL live with my partner last year, it was transcendent

It got a little tedious towards the end there but overall I enjoyed his book.

I enjoyed it though I suppose that enjoyment was similar to watching Leaving Las Vegas in that the subject matter is actually train-wreck horrible to witness.

The amount of hassle he went through daily basis just to "stay well" exhausted me just reading it. I'd rather just puke and shit my brains out for four days and be done with it but obviously that's not how it works for addicts. I just can't relate. The music info and shit talking was great though.

Blues Funeral might just overthrow Bubblegum as my fav. Lanegan release. A younger me would've considered this blasphemy, but it's that good.

It's tough when you share 750 sq feet with another person and you're both home at the same time all the time and they aren't always in the mood for the shit you like, you know.
Still, point taken, TVG.

I saw this tour. The album is so-so, but the show was great. They played lots of Twilight Singers and solo Lanegan "hits" too.

I saw the acoustic leg. First time i saw Mark and i got to shake his hand at the end of the show. Dude is super tall and serious, but super cool too.
The show was amazing, and i love the album very much.

Yeah he was super intimidating on stage. He walked on stage, assumed this position, and didn't change his stance until the show was over.
