Who would you have drafted: Waddle or Smith?
i could never decide on that one…i think it may boil down to team needs more since they excel at different things

i get the argument to some degree about devonta’s build being too small…but at the same time he’s just so good at everything, and he wouldn’t be the first highly successful WR with a small frame

Personally, I preferred Smith going into the draft. His frame is the only reason it seemed like a question, he's just such a natural at everything.

Everybody has raved about Waddle in practice. He didn't do anything in the preseason, but hopefully practice is the better indicator for him.

yeah i probably ultimately leaned smith, but I don’t think either would be a bad move

smith could be marvin harrison-esque and waddle tyrek hill-esque

Just hoping that this isn't the peak of the season for us.

Those roughing the passer on Roberts and neutral zone infraction to prevent a free play calls were BS

A win in Foxboro is a win

I'll take it

Team needs to play a lot better and the offensive playcalling was ass most of the game

I'll second the play calling. It seemed like y'all left yards/points out there. Tua looked pretty good, which makes me think the Pats are still 3rd best in the division.

Yup. Both shook me out of my attempt to calmly enjoy the game come what may.

Yeah I'll take it, too. But I thought Miami was very fortunate to get that win. Defense seemed extremely soft, wide open receivers all day long, run defense wasn't good either. For the most part I thought the Pats dominated the line of scrimmage. Waddle with one great catch and one brutal drop but you can see the game changing speed, so that's a positive. Idk.

They seemed rusty on both sides of the ball, as most teams do this time of year. We'll see what they're truly made of in the coming weeks. I'm pretty optimistic because of how well Flores and co. have adjusted the past couple seasons, especially on defense, and this is a way better start than those.

But yes, as mentioned above, a win at the Patriots is a HUGE victory. I'm very happy.

Next up: Bills. What a start to the season if we can pull off a win against them too.

I'm disappointed FOX is broadcasting the next game. It's so weird they would have an AFC game like this. They suck.

Yup. I was supposed to go to the game with my Bills fan brother-in-law but I'm kinda glad he cancelled. I'm not feeling great about this one.

Yeah, I'm nervous too. Allen always has our number it seems. At least we got the W against the Pats to hold us over.

Three-way tie for first isn't too bad. But yeah running QBs in general tear up this defense, and Allen has definitely done just that. If Miami has to lose at least let it be a shootout. I really just want to see the offense with Tua be explosive.

yes yes indeed... worse case scenario would be if the offense has to try climbing back from behind and tua falls flat on his face trying to do too much

I'm about to say something I know is stupid but that I kinda honestly believe: Tua wouldn't look as small if he'd chosen a double digit jersey number.

It's not so much he looks small.. his throws seem to be missing something, they don't zip

Like when you play madden n just quick tap the throw button
