Sorry, can't do a write up on this one, no time, except to say that Backstreets, Thunder Road and Racing in the Streets are some top top shelf stuff.

Where the fuck is KD? I was expecting an in depth analysis of my team and that fucker has gone MIA. I'm glad I didn't vote for that guy's team!

Backstreets is phenomenal and doesn't need anymore praise. Darkness grows on me more and more with every year. Nebraska is top notch while Independence Day has taken on a special meaning since having a son. I always thought it was a two way conversation with the father speaking verse 2 and I loved hearing it that way (a 1980 version proves this incorrect unfortunately).
You're Missing was the song that made me a bit of a Bruce tragic. That song is so moving. Last To Die is essential Magic and the whole back half of that album play of each other so strongly it wouldn't be the same without each piece. Factory is Bruce through and through before it was cliche. This song like You're Missing is honed and striped of all fat. Save My Love is perfect radio pop, and second only to Ain't Good Enough.

KD has two must have tracks to start off. I prefer Racing 78 but I understand how the released version works better for the album. JCage and City are both aces as well. Sandy is nice but maybe too nice. Sherry is good pop. Brothers is pretty great too.

Scott has half a team of tracks that I adore, a few I could do with never hearing again. Rocky Ground was a nice attempt but it's not a favourite of mine. TR is just about the best track he's ever written (or one of the ten best), This Hard Land, Long Walk Home and Land Of H+D are top notch too. I nearly took Devils and Dust but opted for one acoustic track in the end. Great character on this team.

Bugs has a few I'm not too keen on either. I'm so sick of Sunny Day that it's my piss break song. Galveston Bay reads better than it is too. Prove It and Something are top shelf and Hometown and Long Time are really good too.

I'll give this to Scott but it was mighty close.

As much as I want to vote for #1 Bruce Superfan Spenno (wasn't "Springsteen & I" about him?), I'm gonna have to give my vote to Joseph here. I wouldn't have taken Glory Days that high but then again I wasn't a big baseball player back in high school. I think Because the Night is a little overrated but, okay. I'm realizing this isn't a ringing endorsement but the rest of the team is solid.

5 is way too high for Cover Me but I like it. Bruce doesn't often sound tender but he does on Secret Garden . Not a big Joad guy so...

... I'm going with kreng on this one. Adam Raised a Cain is where balls meet the wall and the other choices are a notch above wease for me.
