Love the guitars on Wreckage. Love the tones, how they interact...whatever Stone is doing is wonderful.

Heard this in theatres last night and headphones now.
There is some top tier PJ here. I’m kinda shocked. If you remove Dark Matter, Running, and Something Special that’s a special collection of songs IMO.
It’s amazing I’m smiling ear to ear listening to new PJ in 2024. Pure joy!

This is so much better than the theater sound quality. I'm hearing a lot more. Scared of Fear has gone up a notch for me, and I already really liked it. What a tasty riff.
Listening to Won't Tell right now. Feels. A lot of them. Another lovely repeating outro solo/riff that's not a complete shred.

Can someone share so that I can confirm whether this is better than Vitalogy?

Oh man, if they just replaced Something Special with one more rocker in the style of Scared of Fear, this album would be perfect.

Very encouraging to see all of the positivity around Wreckage. Arguably the highlight last night at theater for me, shitty speakers aside. I legit got major chills through the second half/outro. Think I had more fond memories of PJ from that song than WFS (even though the latter was great as well).

kinda surprised with Wont Tell. Very poppy. The chrous i guess what they were trying to do in pretty much every LB song right? The melody also sounds very 90s right?

Would greatly appreciate a link to the proper leak as well if anyone is willing to send one. Been listening to the phone leaks all day after the theater experience last night and dying for a quality listen.

Yes. It could be the them song on the OST of a 90's lifetime movie, but in the best, non-cheesy way possible. I think it's beautiful.

Scared of Fear is one of those songs that doesn't have anything overtly flashy going on (it starts with what feels like a very meat and potatoes riff) but there's something about it that just burrows right in. Great opener. That pre chorus (hurting yourself...) is so good.
