I was just at Publix and there was a Pringles endcap that included sweet potato pringles. Jesus, those must be awful.

i've had sweet potato chips before, but they were the "healthy" kind. so basically they tasted like a paperback book cover. i'd try the pringles if i saw them though.

I went a bit mad in the kitchen the other night.
I got six spuds. Boiled them. Melted some butter and browned four cloves of garlic and some fresh rosemary in it.
Chopped up loads and loads of white mature cheddar.
Threw it all in with the spuds and mashed.
Made like a (very cheesy garlicy mash potato supreme.

Did I invent something or this a thing? It was delicious too

We have something similar called "pytt i panne" that is not tradionally mashed like mashed potatoes, but is fried and "mashed together":
