Gabe Kapler made a pitching change without having anyone warming up first. I've never seen that before. Analytics are nice, but you still need to know how to manage people. Philadelphia fans are going to eat him alive.

In the first 38 games this season, 289 pitchers have been used. More than the entire 1968 season which was over 1600 games. Thanks Gabe :D

If starters are only going to throw 68 pitches why not run your best starters out on 3 days rest more often?

Seriously though if 5 or 6 inning is a game now for a 30 million dollar a year ace, shouldn't they be available more often?
