I haven't seen Margot at the Wedding. I should fix that.

I really wanted to see it. And then kinda forgot about it. Don't know that I ever realized it was a Baumbach film, though.

It should surprise no one that Jordan doesn't dig Baumbach. He's kinda like Jordan's cinema anti-christ.

Bridge of Spies. Really good, but not quite great. A grown up, plot driven movie with intelligent dialogue, no super heroes and limited CGI (mostly when a plane is shot down) is exactly the type of film you would expect to get a lot of nominations for this award or that award. Speilberg directed, Hanks starred, and the Coens co-wrote the script. Martin Rylance got the Supporting Actor Oscar in an understated, unassuming role. His makeup reminded me of Eddie Murphy's Jewish old man character in Coming to America's barber shop scene.

The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet. I had a few quibbles with some things toward the end, but overall, what a beauty. Also, accurate depiction of the soul-sucking properties of Illinois.

We're watching the end of Three Men and a Baby. Pre-9/11 airport scenes are the weirdest thing to watch.
