I think the guy said Dance of Clairvoyance because his friend told him the title over the phone. Thus he understood Clairvoyance instead of Clairvoyants...which sounds almost exactly the same

Also the path music is on right now.
I heard Center Won't Hold was a really big influence on the band during recording.

Dance of the Clairvoyants sounds like it should be an Iron Maiden song title.

Pearl Jam doing a 10 minute prog metal song could be cool.

Alright so we can put those rumors of a double album to bed. We know Gigaton is long (ish) in that it requires 3 sides of wax, but not that long because it doesn't need 4. Gigaton is not produced by BOB but the last single they released was.

I wonder if that means there is a second album on the horizon? Or if that was totally scrapped? We've heard rumors of a double album, a No Code 2, and a quieter synthy thing. IF there is a second album and not a totally scrapped and trashed previous album, will it drop later this year? Will it drop in 6 months? 12 months? Next month? Or even if it's finished will we have to wait another seven years?

It's always interesting which rumors come true and which don't.

I'm feeling cautiously optimistic about this record.

I like the cover art, I like the name of the single, I love that they moved away from O'Brien - it's looking good.

I'm not expecting miracles but a solid, enjoyable addition to their catalogue would be very welcome, especially after Lightning Bolt.

Same, though I’m afraid it sounds too good to be true. It’s been over 15 years since they’ve made interesting music.

I'll be very interested to see the tracklist and who wrote the songs.

If I see a bunch of Ed and Mike songs, my hopes will deflate.

Stone, Jeff and Matt? Alright, now we're in business.

All these encouraging things can't be a coincidence though. Someone, maybe Jeff, finally put the last 15 years of pretty embarrassing output into perspective enough that they decided to change gears.

What if synths means some cross pollenation of inspiration between Pink Floyd and The Who? I mean they basically cover those bands nearly every night they are on tour. Maybe we’ll get a light show, and they’ll present the album in full every night, props and all.
