Trust me, I know. But some things transcend that to the point of just being really fucking neat in how happy it makes them.

For the record, I don't hate BB-8 or anything. It just did nothing for me. Like everything else in the movie, it felt depressingly corporate and soulless.

I've listened to a good few spoiler podcasts and YouTube reviews but this one was among the best.
He actually does fill in some blanks about the methods used and decisions made to make the story.
