He’s applying the 12 step program to season 8, and I’m here for it.

"All the Sharks!", it's a fun competition show on Netflix and it does well to destigmatise sharks, showcasing them as not just mindless killers

I half enjoyed it and half found it a bit of a slog. They really want you to see these people suffer. It felt like it was being brutal just for the sake of being brutal. But it was no Bone Tomahawk.

Wait, what?
I dig the take. But isn't the novel written from Chief's POV?
I'm just talking about the movie. I don't know how to read.

Anyway, I'm mostly watching baseball and whatever my kids are watching.

This has been fun, and I’m heading into the last episode soon and have no idea how it’s gonna end. It’s a sci-fi apocalyptic mystery show, for what it’s worth.

100 Foot Wave S3 was such a gut punch. And over way too soon. I hope they do another season.

The pieces are there and it's a great cast, but still it feels a level below what it should be. I do find Sally very irritating, but I know it's not just that.

I’m about two and a half episodes into Smoke on Apple. Formula is familiar—damaged cops trying to push past their personal problems to crack the big case—so it drags at time when it delves into those things, but there are a few twists that are fun. One of the criminals (an arsonist) is known to us at the start, and watching his life spiral and his demons take over are engaging, and there is at least one moment in the show that made me sit up in my seat with how shocking but significant for the story it was. So it’s like a middling show to me, but I’ll see it through to the end.
