Ah yes, that's the other reason I was thinking it, just the amount of time MYM has been out.
Yeah, didn't think about that. It really has been awhile, and perhaps they're trying to front load the hype and siphon it into pre-sales this time around.

As to boom playing in the live setting, not sure it adds much if anything at all.
Crazy Mary used to be good.
I think the backing singers are either just Ed overdubs or other PJ members, no? Those BVs go back quite a long way.
No, back a few years ago on a US tour they employed backing singers and a horn section.
OK. But it's hardly become a staple, right? Ed also played once with a guy who plays sitar and tabla.

Yeah but that was good though.

I liked all that stuff on The End, personally.

I enjoy it. As the closing track on
Backspacer, it somehow makes perfect sense.

With any luck, this one will have the same effect - and there's no Just Breathe to spoil the momentum along the way. I hope.

It sounds like this album has a lot of meat to it, if that's so, then a song like "Future Days" will be the perfect wind down. Especially if "Yellow Moon" is as "full" as reviews seem to suggest.

Basically, it hasn't done the song any favours releasing it out of that context.

I assume I'm in the minority saying that I don't mind it at all. I think it has some really beautiful parts- specifically the "I believe" bit. I think a studio version with some additional instrumentation will be a great PJ album closer.

I doubt this came from pj/10c.
This was a fan I reckon.

I agree, I think there's a decent song there. But a lot of people really hate it and I understand their reason. Wrigley wasn't the right place to debut it at all.

They should've debuted Infallible instead. Shit would've been hot fire.

Haha, but why show your whole hand? If we had heard "Infallible" already, and most previews seem to say this is one of, if not the, best song(s) on the album, a lot of the excitement would be diminished.
They soundchecked it for a reason

Yeah that's true also. It does sound like they haven't released the best songs. Good move.

Is MYM really 3 months ago?
Wouldn't surprise me if FD or SBM will be the next single. A softer song in comparison to MYM as the next single sounds like a logical step. On the other hand, if MYM is the loudest song, than everything else is softer.
Btw: where did this rumor come from?

They never do. Some even get left off of albums. Luckily, KurtLeon is around.

It was two months ago. Early July.
