He survived being thrown down a pit, exploding, and then being blown up with the Death Star.

Are we really supposed to believe that he couldn't survive shocking himself with his own force lightning? .... again!?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Dear reader I’m sorry for the hotness of this take
Please feel free to plough my mentions
I... Don't think this take is as hot as you think it is, buddy.
Very controversial to claim that some aspects of TROS were not thought out very well.

He didn’t survive what happened to him in Return Of The Jedi.

Could he be cloned again? Possibly.

I want the next trilogy to be solely comprised of clones of characters from the first three. It will be like an "All-Star" season of a reality show.

I'd really like to discuss why whenever his lightning gets reflected back on him, he keeps using it while it's hitting him in the face.

I guess in ROTS he was framing the Jedi for an attack, but in TROS, he literally blew himself up.

Attack is the best defence, and Palpatine can’t imagine not winning through with his attacking power. This is typical for the sith in Star Wars, and for Kylo Ren in TLJ.

It’s basically the same as what happened with him in every other fight he was in.

There are a lot of ways to look at it. But I don't think B is interested that. My guess is he doesn't have any time for any possible explanation.

I reserve the right to TL;DL you, but what's the explanation for:

Emperor shoots lightning at Rey.
She manages to reflect it back into his face.
He does not stop shooting lightning, even for a second to rethink his strategy.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
